Carefully carrying the cocoon , Magneto prepares to leave.
"Fool. I can smell that delicious metal of yours from miles away. I think I shall now rip from your body again." Magneto yells with rage.
As Magneto prepares to bring Wolverine tremendous pain the claw wielding mutant fires a weapon.
Magneto falls to the ground as does the cocoon with a hard clunk.
Magneto quickly becomes Wolverine's prey but by falling something in the cocoon as been disturbed and awakened. As the sound of double heartbeats become the sound of a single heart beating.
A transparent image emerges from the cocoon levitating above it. The ghostly figure is that of Dr Katelynn Shane Basil. Her facial expression is confused. She looks around seeing members of Magneto's brotherhood rolling around injured and hurt.
She floats like a spirit and no one sees her, Wolverine buries his claws in Magneto. The heartbeat from the Cocoon becomes louder and rapid.
The poltergeist clasps her chest and reacts if she cant breath. Suddenly her ghostly appearance changes. She appears with a reptilian like skin and eyes but she is still ghostly. She flies toward the Wolverine.
As Wolverine steps back and lets Magneto fall she flies to his side. No one sees her. She is close to Wolverine. She moves to his ear as she opens her mouth an echo of indistinguishable voices then an angelic voice hollow and melodious speaks, "Sleep."
Wolverine falls to the ground a sleep. She hovers over his body in her reptilian ghostly form. It appears she is about to possess Wolverine when the other X men approach. She rises going to each one Whispering, "Sleep." And the do…
As the last falls asleep, the blue mutant woman appears with Magneto's brotherhood stumbling.
They do not see the ghostly image watching them. Magneto lays barely conscience, "Mystique don't forget Sky."
"Leave her." Mystique says
"NO, leave her and I promise you will regret it." Magneto looks at a very weak and battered Blob.
Blob fetches the cocoon and the Ghostly image speaks, as she opens her mouth a hollow sound is heard by no one but her as she speaks her word it is followed with a chorus of hollow indistinguishable voices echoing. Her voice is angelic like the voice being carried by the windof a distant woman . She speaks but one word, "Return." At this point she is drawn to the cocoon, No one sees her.
At Magneto's hideout, Mutants desperately work to save a fatally injured Magneto.
After sometime he wakes and stands.
A woman enters the room, "Magneto, you are to weak."
"Mystique out of my way. I must see Sky." Magneto says as he limps to another room.
"What is her condition?" He demands
"We do not know?" Mystique says.
"What have you tried?" Magneto asks
"Magneto, there is nothing we can do. She is deflecting the scans." Mystique sneers, a bit annoyed
Magneto slouches down next to the cocoon touching its cold surface. "What is happening my dear Sky, Why are you like this?"
He turns to his brotherhood, "This is not normal. She didn’t do this when Wolverine damaged her. Something happened. Bring me all the video files from Cyberdyne. We must know what they did to her."
As Magneto review the video he sees Sky pull herself on top of the human.
"Who is this Woman?" Magneto demanded.
Toad speaks, "Dr Katelynn Shane Basil. She is a scientist, which works for Cyberdyne. A Berkeley Graduate, She has four PHD's. She seems to Expertise in Artificial intelligence, genetics, biology and this is strange…. Oneirology. "
"This is even stranger, there is no records of her life before Cambridge, the school records of her high school grades, family, birth certificate. They are forgeries." Mystique adds.
"Who are you?" Magneto says as he pulls an image up of Dr Basil.
Magneto continues the night despite his weakened state searching, no leads, who ever she was she did a good job of hiding who she really was, but why? Soon the screen becomes fuzzy and Magneto drifts to sleep at his work station…
The room is quiet and the cocoon darkens. It appears to be drying out like a scab on a sore… Or being drained. It cracks and wakes Magneto.
He walks to the cocoon and runs his hand over the now black mass. Its texture feels different, like fiberglass, Magneto notices there is hair and skin mixed with metal. He also notices it has cracked and that as he touches it cracks more like an egg. Magneto begins to peel the lawyers of fiberglass like shell from Sky as the last piece falls he steps back.
There lies one metallic body, Sky. She is curled in a fetal position and motionless. Magneto walks to her and reaches out to touch her. Mystique walks in.
"Mystique try running a scan now." He orders.
As she is scanning the still body, Mystique reports her findings, "Her entire schematic make up has change. It appears that the original cyborg body has consumed the human body, completely merging with it. None of her original … parts have been lost but instead have taken in organic…. " Mystique paused as Magneto pushed her a side
"Though the nanotechnology could mimic organic material perfectly, her internal systems were all … she was entirely a machine. Brain… her brain has completely merged with the human's brain, it is both organic and machine now. Her mechanical skeleton has grafted itself to the human's skeleton. Sky now has some humanoid systems merged with her mechanical systems, equally being both machine and human. Lungs, a heart…… my god, female reproductive system. The rest of her systems are cybernetic." Magneto looks down at Sky, "My dead Sky why did you do this? Why this human, why?"
"She is part human, can we destroy her now?" Mystique asks
"NO! Sky may have acquired human systems but all of her original programs and internal systems are here. In the video the scientist took an arm, both legs. The nanotechnology couldn’t redistribute itself to recreate a whole skeleton, perhaps this is why… Instead of creating a whole skeleton it re constructed her mechanical skeleton by grafting it over the human skeleton so she would be whole. If we get the parts they took from her Perhaps we can separate the human parts and return her to the way she was. So no we do not destroy her." Magneto said. "Mystique you go alone slip into Cyberdyne undetected and get those parts, then return."
Mystique left in a huff and Magneto sat working at his station trying to figure out this puzzle. However he was tired and again he began to drift.
As Magneto slept at his computer, the cyborg opened her eyes. She stood and looked around. Her face was full of confusion. She left wandering from their hideout. She wondered like a lost puppy, like someone who didn’t know where she was.
Magneto wakes and realizes Sky is not there. He feels out her metal and goes after her. He finds her standing at the entrance of an apartment building…
She will not answer his calls to her, She walks up the stairs and stands before a door.
"Why are we here Sky?" Magneto asks but she doesn’t respond. She tears the door off its hinges and enters the apartment. Magneto looks at the neighboring doors checking to see if anyone had been disturbed, apparently they were all sleeping.
Magneto then walked in behind the cyborg watching her look around as if in a daze.
"Sky, who lives here? Why are…" Before Magneto can finish he notices a photograph he picks it up
Then he looks down at the mail, it is all addressed to Dr Katelynn Basil. "You are not Sky are you?" Magneto says as he turns back to the Cyborg. The Cyborg takes the flesh form of Dr Basil.
"It would seem I will have no choice but to…" Magneto says with a note of sorrow as a man enters the room with a gun
"Hold it right there," the male neighbor looks at Dr Basil standing naked and is distract as she walks toward him.
She steps to his side moving close to his ear, as she opens her mouth a hollow sound and indistinguishable voices fill the room, then she speaks with a harmonious voice, like an angel's voice being carried by the wind, "Sleep." The man falls to the ground. Dr Basil steps straddling his body and then crouches down on all fours she looks into his face as she lowers her face to his, she speaks again with the same eerie dreamy effect, "Dream." As the words leaves her lips her body falls off to the side in its place is a ghostly image of her body. Magneto stands and watches as her ghost watches his face almost as if she was reacting on instinct her form changes to a reptilian skinned female ghost, when his eyes begin to shift under his eyelids she speaks again with the dreamy effect, "Die."
Then she merges as if taking possession of his body.
The man shifts as if he is having a nightmare, tossing, then he begins to have a seizure. His clenched fist drawing blood from his hands
The spasms and fit ends and the body lays still. The ghostly form leaves the body and speaks as before, "Return."
The spirit returns to its body and Dr basil remains unconscious.
Magneto walks over and touches the man's neck, he is dead. He then turns to look at the Dr. "I should of known, I wondered how a mere human could possibly survive what you have survive but you are not human are you…." Magneto replaces the door to prevent any more surprises and then lifts the body of the cyborg. He places her on the bed.
As he looks down at her he ponders, "Now who exactly are you?"
He waves his hand and a drawer opens he looks down and pulls a book. He begins to read aloud.

I was late again for work. Last night I indulged myself and traveled to Germany. I was sitting at the Balcony of the Neuschwanstein looking at the peaceful mountains. By the time I returned to my body and got ready I was one hour late. They weren't happy. If the lecture I got from the Head Scientist Dr I think I am smart Gear wasn't enough, I came home to find that jerk of a neighbor snooping around my apartment. He found the box. I don't think he read the journals, I don't know why I keep it. I guess for me to reflect later on what has happened to me.
"The Box? Journals? What had happened?" Magneto said closing the book. He walked over to the closet and opened it searching through until he found a box. From it he pulled a bear and some Journals. Again he read out loud.
November 10 1993
Happy Birthday me!
Mom and Dad threw me a cool party for my 12th birthday but something bad happened. This boy was picking on me and I got upset then I was standing looking at my body. It was on the ground and I was like a ghost. My mom and Dad was trying CPR, I thought I died, they didn’t seem to see me but when I wanted them to they then saw me. Then I was sucked back in my body and stood up. My mom and dad freaked and took me to the hospital. They keep sticking needles in me. I don't know what they told my Mom and Dad but they left without saying good bye. I tried to leave but the Dr wouldn’t let me. I am scared. I was suppose to be sleeping but I woke up. I could hear voices and see images. I then realized it was the patients. I can hear their thoughts. I couldn’t before and I cant hear the thoughts of those who are awake just those who are a sleep.
Magneto turns a few pages and a drawing and some photos falls out, he reads that page and looks at the drawing and photos
June 21, 1995
I ran away from the orphanage. I had to or Sister Framer would end up killing me. I was cold and I didn't know where to go. Sister Framer says I have a demon in me, that all mutants do. I was hungry and went to steal food in this woman's garden. She caught me. Miss Terra invited me in and made me a meal. She is a human. Terra says she understands about no one liking me. She practices witchcraft and so no one likes her. Terra has told me this is often the case when people don't understand something, she also says I have no demon that I am special She calls me The Dreamweaver.
